When I returned home after being away for four weeks this spring, I found that the grass—almost no melted snow exposed before I left—is more than a foot tall now. This year I decided to do it myself instead of relying on landscaping services.
After completing my due diligence-including carefully reading various review sites and YouTube video—I decided that the first lawn mower I bought was , Especially the LM2135SP model. Please note that in my decades of mowing experience, I have used various reels, gas and electric push lawn mowers, but none of them are as good as this one.
Pleasantly adjustable
Out of the box, the first thing I noticed is how easy it is to adjust the mower to an ergonomic mowing position. Holding a green lever firmly, I unfolded the handle assembly to an angle of about 45 degrees with the ground. Using the green release devices on both sides of the handle, I extended the handle to a comfortable distance. Because the grass was already close to shameful levels, I used a lever on the side to raise the entire deck to its maximum height-it was lovely, not the restless single wheel setup like the past.
Another unique feature of these mowers is the ability to replace a different second blade. (The top blade remains fixed.) It comes with a cover blade already installed. The other two options are a high-lift blade to help bag your clippings (I didn’t do this) and an extended runtime blade (I don’t need it). Although knowing that I can easily replace the blade in the future, it is still good.

Powerful but quite quiet
After charging and inserting the battery, I am ready to deal with rough bushes (pictured below). Happily, as long as I press the safety bar on the handlebar, the lawn mower will not hesitate. It passes directly through the tall grass. For the initial extreme lawn challenge, I manually pushed the lawn mower, which helped to save battery energy, which drained my own energy. But even at a high temperature of 93 degrees, it can run for an hour before it needs to charge the battery, which also takes an hour.
I’m confident that my lawn mower can handle any grass I’m holding. It’s not only great, but it’s nice to know that I don’t have to suffer Hearing loss While doing so. In fact, I can easily listen to the music playing through my in-ear wireless earbuds without any noise cancellation, only two-thirds of the volume. So this lawn mower is not as quiet as a window sash; but unlike the typical roar of a gas lawn mower, every time you mow the lawn, your neighbors a few blocks away will not notice.

The joy of self-promotion
During continuous outings, I was able to cut about a quarter of an acre of grass in just 35 minutes without needing to recharge the battery. This time I did use the self-propelled function, which uses the green dial in the middle of the handlebar to adjust to 10 levels. For shorter lines, the first few speed levels are good. However, for longer lines and when pulling out from sharp turns, it is good to have medium and higher, and faster levels.
The lawn mower needs a little time to adapt. First, learn to use the left or right thumb button for automatic propulsion without releasing the safety lever (thus stopping the engine); second, figure out how to solve the turning problem. In the end, I decided on a way to release the self-propelled button at the end of the line and then re-engage it when leaving the turn.
The result is that I finished my lawn on this particularly warm day of 85 degrees, with only sweat shining (not dripping). It’s great to let the lawn mower do most of the work and only need to instruct it. After arguing whether I really need this feature, I am glad I decided to spend a little more money to own it-I think I will make up for this cost soon because I have to spend less money on beer or lemonade. Quench your thirst after cutting.

Follow the model
Before buying a 21-inch EGO lawn mower-especially if it seems to be relatively reasonably priced-please double check the model to make sure you actually get the configuration you need:
1. The last two numbers tell you the latest status of the model. For example, my Promised 60 minutes of runtime, but newer The model ($100 more) promises a more powerful battery that can provide an impressive 75 minutes.
2. The SP at the end of the model indicates that it is a self-propelled model, which is usually $100 more expensive than the non-propelled model.
3. If the model number ends in 0 (ie 2130 and 2135), it means that it does not include batteries and fast chargers-if you already have an EGO Power Plus trimmer, trimmer or blower, it may be okay to use a compatible Battery.

Should you buy it?
It feels a lot to spend about $600 on a lawn mower. But in my less humble opinion, it is worth it, if not just for convenience and ease of use, then it must be for its performance. I never want to go back to the sound, smell, or maintenance of a gas lawn mower.
I can rationalize the price based on not having to pay someone 35 to 40 dollars once to mow the lawn. In just a few seasons, I will pay the same amount, but this way I can control the schedule more precisely. Not for nothing: it turns out that I enjoy my pride in maintaining the lawn.
