According to the Associated Press, Jamaican player Elaine Thompson-Hera won the gold medal in the women’s 100m race and set an Olympic record of 10.61 seconds.

The World Athletics Federation added on Twitter that this is Jamaica’s record and the second fastest time in history.

Thompson Hera is the defending champion.

Florence Griffith Joyner set an Olympic record of 10.62 points at the 1988 Seoul Olympics Olympic Games.

Thompson-Herah defeated her number one opponent Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce by 0.13 seconds. Sherika Jackson, who participated in the Tokyo Olympic sprint event, won the bronze medal.

This has formed a fast game of days or even months. In June, Fraser-Pryce became the fourth fastest time in history with 10.63 seconds.

When the sprinters arrived in Japan, they found a fast lane in the Olympic Stadium.

In the earlier semi-finals, the Jamaicans entered the list of the best 10 games in Olympic history with a score of 10.8.
