EXPAL showcases its latest innovations in air, land and sea at Defence Force Asia 2022 in Kuala Lumpur on the 28thth and 31th March 2022. The company is demonstrating its technical capabilities in ammunition and weapons systems.
EXPAL offers a wide range of ammunition for field and naval artillery, mortars, aerial weapons, medium caliber, fuzes, propelling charges, blasting ammunition and more. Among them, EXPAL highlights the field artillery high-performance extended-range series 105 and 155 mm, consisting of projectiles for area denial and projectiles for lighting and concealment of non-lethal effects, meeting the most demanding NATO standards. The projectile is equipped with an electronic fuze and can be used in a variety of functional modes. Navy shells are also equipped with a proximity mode to create a multi-option fuze. It can be used in cannon assemblies with inductive and conductive programming.
For air weapons, EXPAL highlights the new high-performance 70mm Rocket CAT-70 AP, which is compatible with standard 70mm launcher and guidance kit systems.
EXPAL highlights the dual EIMOS weapon system in service with the Spanish Navy. This 81mm vehicle-mounted mortar system was developed through a research and development program with the Spanish Ministry of Defense to meet the most demanding requirements of the Navy (Marine Corps) and the Army.
Designed for Shoot & Scoot, Dual EIMOS offers maneuverability, automatic 360º aiming and shooting without additional stabilizers, the ability to overcome steep slopes and, as a unique feature, deep wading without preparation. It enables Dual EIMOS to also be disembarked by the Navy for high mobility ground operations.
