Facebook announced on Monday that it will require all campus employees to wear masks, regardless of their vaccination status.
The move came after Facebook announced on Wednesday that it would require American workers returning to its offices to be vaccinated.
“As our office reopens, we will require anyone who comes to work on our American campus to be vaccinated,” People’s vice president Lori Goler said in a statement last week.

The latest policy will be implemented on Wednesday and will continue to be effective. There is no official date when the mission will end.
“The health and safety of our employees and neighbours in the community remains our top priority,” Facebook said in a statement.
“In view of the increasing number of COVID cases, the latest data on COVID variants, and increasing local requirements, we will restore the requirements for masks in all of Facebook’s U.S. offices regardless of the employee’s vaccination status.”
The decision was made by many other companies and local governments in multiple counties in the San Francisco Bay Area, and these companies and local governments have again initiated similar agreements.
When employees are in indoor workplaces, technology giants including Google and Apple have taken the lead in restoring the requirement to wear masks.
Companies such as Disney, The Wall Street Journal, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Target have also implemented vaccination programs for some employees.
