Adjunct professor Franco Fubini will teach sustainability management this fall.

Adjunct Professor Franco Fubini is the founder and CEO of Natoora. Out of the belief that by exposing people to the true flavors of fruits and vegetables, we can collectively change the way food is grown and served, Franco has built a supply chain based on transparency and direct relationships, the best of its kind. ‘s first.

What initially motivated you to pursue the field of sustainability?

This stems from a career building Natoora, a company dedicated to being the driving force for a better food system.

What drew you to the Columbia School of Climate and Professional Studies?

I am a guest lecturer for the Sustainability Management course. This is also the leading role played by the Columbia Climate Institute and the Earth Institute in the field.

What courses will you be teaching this fall, and what excites you the most?

I will be teaching sustainability management and I am most excited to put students on a sustainable career path.

What changes do you hope to see in the future of sustainability?

I would like to see the sustainability curriculum more deeply embedded in the core curriculum at the early education stage.

What advice do you have for students pursuing sustainable careers?

Hopeful about change because it’s in their hands.
