After following the official Twitter account of BTS in July, Jennifer Lopez once again excited the global fan base “ARMY”. JLo reposted a Tiktok video from music producer Carneyval, and he made a mash up Her recent hits “Cambia El Paso” and BTS’s “Permission to Dance”.
Lopez collaborated with Puerto Rican rapper Rauw Alejandro to create the song “Cambia El Paso”. The song was released in July and has been viewed more than 17 million times on the artist’s official YouTube account.
She also retweeted a Tiktok video of the choreographer Sienna Lalau dancing in the mashup. Lalau choreographed the BTS dance moves for the songs “Dionysus” and “ON”. Lopez marked the official Twitter account of BTS in her post, which made fans more excited about the possible project between the two superstars.
Fans of the K-pop superstar immediately expressed their voices on the suspected collaboration between Lopez and BTS on Twitter.
“The queen said to herself!! Is this a reminder for you? BTS x J.Lo cooperation is coming soon, please @BTS_twt @BIGHIT_MUSIC @JLo to make this a reality!!!” said a fan.
“My goodness @BTS_twt X @JLo It’s like my childhood and my adulthood meet @sienna_lalau We have been blessing,” another fan commented.
In July, Lopez and BTS began to follow each other on Twitter, and fans immediately suspected that the collaboration between musicians was about to begin. There is even speculation that the famous seventy may sing a Spanish song with Lopez.
In the online concert “BTS 2021 MUSTER Sowoozoo” in June, BTS’J-Hope and Jimin sang the Spanish part of the song “Chicken Noodle Soup”. The Spanish part of the song was originally completed by Mexican-American singer Becky G. This song is her first collaboration with J-Hope in 2019.
In November 2020, Lopez posted an Instagram clip where she huddled with her children and twins Emme and Maximilian BTS‘Dynamite’ at the live quarantine Thanksgiving dance party.
“Dynamite” is the first English song of BTS, which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in September 2020.
In April of this year, due to the rules of the ranking list, if a song stays on the list for more than 20 weeks and falls to the 50th place, it will be forced to be removed from the list.
