Putting food on many plates and providing free legal services and education to many people around the world is the hard work of many non-profit organizations. These organizations ensure that aid reaches those who need it most.
NND celebrated on August 17th because that was Tariff Act of 1894 Has been signed into law.The law imposed the first federal income tax on companies, but exempted charities and Non-profit organizations company. With some exceptions, non-profit organizations are still tax-exempt today.
