Frankenstein Day is held on August 30th every year to commemorate the birthday of the writer Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. She was born in Somerstown, London on this day in 1797.
The British novelist is famous for his novel “Frankenstein” written in 1816.
As one of the earliest examples of science fiction literature, this novel is about the brilliant but misguided Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who created a monster and then abandoned it.Although many people have read this novel, there are some myth Creatures created by Frankenstein around Shelley.

- His name is “Frankenstein”-many people think that the name of this monster is Frankenstein, but this is not the case.He is only called “demon” and “demon” in the book
- The monster is green and has bolts on the neck-although popular culture portrays Frankenstein’s monster as a giant with green skin and bolts stuck on his neck, Shelley does not use these terms to describe the creature.
