Anxiety is like blood pressure. Everyone has it, if yours is zero, you will die. It has important uses for both humans and animals-our anxiety protects our safety by helping us avoid dangerous situations.
At least, when I asked if I could hope to “cure” my severe social anxiety, my therapist said so. That was a few months ago-good news-through treatment, I no longer feel controlled by anxiety, and I no longer struggle like before.
Although we have many ways to manage our own anxiety, our pets need help, whether they suffer from chronic, persistent anxiety problems (such as my cows), or they just need extra support when they are stressed.

My favorite is Calming spray. I can spray it on and around my dog’s bed, as well as public areas such as living room carpets and sofas, almost anywhere.
I also spray it on Cow’s Thundershirt.
When I have to take one of my pets to the vet, I like to spray it on the carrier, car or harness. It is so versatile.
As for Calm collar, I tried it and thought it would help in situations where you can’t reapply the spray easily. If you are in the park all day, or if they have to stay in a boarding kennel, this would be great for reactive dogs.
I found that the collar has a strong smell of essential oils. Although it is not unpleasant, I am not sure if it will cause irritation to a dog’s sensitive nose after wearing it for a few hours. I put it under Cow’s bed and the scent lasted for the whole month, so I didn’t have to respray there.
As for composure insert, It makes my home smell good all month, but not strong. However, since we have a small apartment, it is sometimes difficult to provide enough sockets for all our equipment, so I may not buy it again. I prefer the control and versatility of the spray.
What’s in Alzoo pet calming products?
Alzoo calming products contain valerian and lavender essential oils. These are commonly used in other sedative products, they have been used for thousands of years, so they are well known but not widely studied.

However, for cats, you need to pay attention to how much essential oils are used around them. Even oil that can be safely diffused around cats should not be applied directly to their fur, as they will consume it when combing the hair, which may cause slight toxicity. To be safe, I did not apply these products directly to our cat or her bed.

Speaking of essential oils, some are toxic to animals, but not the essential oils used in these products. Always use products specially formulated for pets and use caution at the beginning, as individual pets may be allergic or intolerant to anything, including safe oils.
How to use Alzoo pet calming products
When your dog is over-excited or “crazy”, it is impossible for them to learn. When they overstimulate or exceed the threshold, they may not even receive treatment, no matter what you want to call it. If your dog is barking, opinionated, and unresponsive to their names, your efforts to train them or desensitize them will not succeed.
