Halloween is right around the corner and we love it. I’m a total horror lover, so I love this time of year. I decorate the house for my kids and always have a little picky tea at the Halloween parties at home. We don’t actually trick or treat, and even if we did, there are only two houses here, so there’s no point!

Halloween children’s books
I always pack a Halloween bag for my kids. They usually include some sweet treats, a toy, and some Halloween-themed books.
One of my favorite children’s authors is Julia Donaldson and we love her books”room on broom‘. The witch and her cat flew happily on their broomsticks over forests, rivers, and mountains until a storm blew away the witch’s hat, bow, and wand. Fortunately, she has many friends around to help her, and they all want to ride a broomstick too. The more the merrier, but the broom isn’t used to such a heavy load, and it wasn’t that long ago. . . Break! It broke in half! A greedy dragon is looking for a snack, and the witch’s animal friends better think fast!
This special edition includes the classic story, things to make and do, and tips for hosting your own “broom room” Halloween party.

Happy Halloween!
