Halloween Scary Fridge Cake – Slime and Belly Laughs

We love Halloween at home! I always decorate the house with fun accessories and the boys have sweets (probably too many). I also love to bake with the kids.
We make lots of Halloween-themed treats like bloody hot dog fingers, slime cupcakes, mummy cookies and all the other weird stuff kids love!
This year we collaborated Donut Bringing you this No Bake Halloween Horror Fridge Cake. It’s quick and super easy to make. enjoy!

raw material

100 g butter

200g dark chocolate, chopped

100g milk chocolate, chopped

100g salted caramel chocolate sauce

6 Doughlicious Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Cookies (cooked according to pkt instructions)

80g dried cranberries

80g shelled pistachios

Spooky candies to decorate.

method

1 Line a 20 cm square baking sheet with plastic wrap.

2. Melt the butter, chopped chocolate, M&S salted caramel and chocolate sauce in a heatproof bowl over a pot of barely simmering water, stirring constantly to keep the mixture from overheating, until completely melted. Carefully remove bowl from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.

3. Place cooled Doughlicious Salted Caramel & Dark Chocolate biscuits in a bowl, you want small pieces but should still have lumps (eg not crumbs). Add dried cranberries and pistachios and toss to combine.

4. Pour into the chocolate and stir until completely coated in the melted chocolate mixture.
Spoon evenly into the prepared tin. Press down firmly with the back of the spoon. Smooth on top.

5. Decorate with creepy candies and chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours – or until set.

6. Cut into cubes and enjoy! (Using a warm knife makes it easier to cut frozen cakes).
