The second season of “Squid Game” is still undecided. Netflix’s performance is shy, why?
You guys, I can’t let my brother watch “Squid Game”. He said that he does not like allegorical violence, which implicitly reflects the cold reality of our capitalist culture and the interconnected consumption of human beings. Like, why don’t you like that?
Anyway, leaving aside my brother’s bad taste, this Korean drama happens to be the highest-rated show in Netflix’s history (in history!). According to Variety, its viewing time in the first month was 1.65 billion hours (Variety said this is equivalent to 182,000 years, I believe them.).
However, Season 2 has not yet been completed on Netflix. According to reports, Netflix and “Squid Game” director Huang Dong Hyuk are still discussing the possibility of it. I frankly think this is absurd, maybe it is racism? Just like, this is a platform to tap its strong funds to update the gems “Lucifer” and “Iron Fist”.

After Hayao Miyazaki retired, we were dazzled again, and I hope to break our hearts again.
