A woman fell 50 feet to her death while hiking on a coastal path in California.
On the morning of Sunday, September 5, Yvonne Rogan fell from a cliff to the beach below while hiking on the Mori Point Trail in Pacifica.
First responders found the 45-year-old man unresponsive on Rockaway Beach, about 50 feet below the trail. San Francisco ChronicleReport. police The publication added that it was later confirmed that Logan died at the scene.
Witnesses told the police that they saw a woman fall down at around 9.40 am local time.

The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office later determined that the woman was Yvonne Logan in the nearby city of Daly.
The GoFundMe page set up on Monday tried to raise money for Logan’s funeral expenses and described the 45-year-old as an “outgoing, caring and truly strong woman.”
“Yesterday we lost an amazing, outgoing, caring, and truly strong woman,” the page read. “Yvonne Estrada Rogan was suddenly taken away by us. One of her real goals in life is to make her family happy, healthy, loved and together. Feng is motivation, inspiration and Gan Jiang. Anyone who knew her was moved by her love and strength. She left her husband, son, and mother.”
Rogan’s childhood friend Jason Behan described the death as “irony” because Rogan recently started hiking and “committed to a healthier life and exercise.”
“When he told me what happened. Even my wife couldn’t believe it. She said it was wrong. This is bad information, wait a minute,” Behan told KRON4. “In recent years, she has really changed her life and committed to a healthier life, exercise and proper diet. It is really ironic. This is what she did. She exercised outside, made her hike and Everything you know I don’t know if it will make it more painful or whatever, I still can’t believe it.”
Behan describes his friend as one of the most motivated, strong-willed, and caring people he knows. “This is just a heavy loss. She is a strong woman who really does her best to her family, her husband, her son and the mother she has been caring for,” he said. “She is a good mother. She is a daughter. She is a good friend. She is like this. They don’t let them be like this anymore.”
Mori Kok Park is popular for its coastal trails, which cover more than 110 acres and offer beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean.
