How to Organise Your Monthly Payments for a Stress-Free Budget

*This is a collaborative post.

It can be tricky to keep track of your monthly payments when you have multiple bills going out at different times. This article will show you how to organize your monthly payments so that you can have a stress-free budget. We’ll go over some tips and tricks for creating a payment schedule that works for you, as well as advice on how to stick to it!

When you have multiple bills all coming out at different times, it makes it harder to keep track of things. Wouldn’t it be easier if everything came out on the same day so you know where you stand? That isn’t always possible, but a lot of the time, you can change the payment dates. Just get in touch with everybody that you pay bills to and ask if you can change the payment date. You may have to make a larger payment for the first month to iron things out but after that, you’ll be fine and it will be way easier when most payments go out at the same time. If you can set the dates just after you get paid, all of the bills are dealt with right away and whatever is left is for saving/spending.

If you have a lot of different debt payments to make, it can be hard to keep track of everything. Why not consider consolidating all of your debt payments into one monthly payment? You can get consolidation loans for bad credit that allow you to do this, even if your finances are not in great shape. That way, you only have one payment to worry about and it will be easier to budget for. It also means that you’ll save money on interest payments, so it’s a lot easier to get on top of things again.

It’s easy to forget about payments when you have lots of dates and things going on. A good way to try and stay on top of everything is by using reminders on your phone. Just set a reminder for the day before each payment, so you know it’s coming out soon. Then you can make sure that the money is in the right account to make the payment. Missing payments will damage your credit score, even if it’s an accident and you had the money to pay it, so reminders are important.

You’ll be surprised at how many subscriptions you have. Most people use streaming services for music or TV and if you sign up for free trials, they usually carry on if you forget about them. You probably have more subscriptions than you realize and they catch you out because you didn’t factor them into your budget. Going through and cancelling all of the ones you don’t need is a great way to save money every month and reduce the number of bills you need to think about.

Getting organized is the key to staying on top of your finances, so use these simple tips and tricks to keep track of your monthly bills.
