Beat the imposter syndrome anxiety cycle
Imposter syndrome can be considered environmentally friendly because it plays a role in the cycle. ♻️
Once you start to doubt yourself, work becomes more and more difficult.
When you are anxious about tasks and projects, you can’t attribute success to your own abilities-thus maintaining the idea of being an imposter.
- You have started a task or project that makes you anxious.
- This anxiety can lead to over-preparation, avoidance and procrastination.
- You start to get exhausted, so when the task is over, there is no satisfaction
- Your anxiety is confirmed: you feel lucky and “get away with a fluke.”
Prompt increased anxiety and depression, restart the entire cycle in time to complete the next task.
