- cauliflower – Find a whole head of cauliflower and cut it into medium-sized florets 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter and 2 inches long.
Tip: Be careful not to cut the florets too small!
Medium to large cauliflower florets do best in the Instant Pot.Small ones will become too mushy (better for making Mashed Cauliflower).
- olive oil – Adds flavor and also helps the spices penetrate the cauliflower. You can substitute avocado oil or any other oil you like.
- lemon juice – Brightens the flavor and complements the natural nuttiness of this vegetable.
- seasoning – include chili, garlic powder, sea saltand Black pepper Light smoke and spice.
- fresh parsley – An optional garnish that makes the cauliflower even more delicious.

How to Cook Cauliflower in the Instant Pot

- season. Place cauliflower florets in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Throw on the coat.
- transfer. pour water into instant pot. Place a steamer Put the cauliflower in it. (You can use the tripod that came with the Instant Pot instead, but some parts may fall off.)
- Cook cauliflower in the Instant Pot. Close the pressure cooker lid and switch the knob to the seal position. Press the pressure cook button and set to zero minutes. Cook on high pressure until it beeps.
- release. Immediately turn valve to vent position using quick release to relieve pressure. This will prevent the Instant Pot cauliflower from overcooking. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.


How long does it take to cook cauliflower in the instant pot?
The best cooking time for Instant Pot Cauliflower is 0 minutes for juicy and slightly crispy cauliflower. If you want softer cauliflower, just chop it into smaller pieces.
storage instructions
- shop: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.

- freeze: Transfer to a freezer safe container and store for up to 6 months. Thaw overnight before reheating.
