Whenever one thinks of healthcare and Texas, all eyes turn to Houston, home to the world’s largest medical complex with big names like MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Bucking the trend a bit, we at MedCity News chose a different Texas city as their new home Invest in digital health — DALLAS — Our first meeting is scheduled for September 28th.Dallas has its own Powerful Healthcare Startups The entire region is an emerging center for high-tech and life sciences. So, other than Dallas, where else can we think about the future of health — and explore untapped areas like the Metaverse healthcare space?

The key to our decision to bring the conference to the region was the tireless enthusiasm and support of our Gold Sponsors – healthy wild cat. The company is a Dallas-based healthcare accelerator founded in 2013 to meet the needs of the burgeoning Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex healthcare industry for a hub of health innovation. Over the past nine years, Health Wildcatters’ portfolio has grown to 77 startups. It also raised more than $150 million, cementing its position as the nation’s leading accelerator.

“We are excited to partner with MedCity News to bring Invest Digital Health to Dallas and the Lone Star State,” Health Wildcatters CEO Hubert Zajicek said in a statement. “There is a tremendous amount of health innovation in our region, and we think now is the right time to hold this premier conference in Texas.”

The agenda will address not only the future, but the immediate problems innovators are grappling with: how to avoid the pitfalls of machine learning and artificial intelligence, and how employers can innovate in healthcare and the financial experience for patients.

So who should invest? Broadly speaking, anyone interested in the future of healthcare should attend, as every year we want to explore what’s on the cutting edge. This year, we’ll paint a picture of what Metaverse looks like in healthcare.
