Jason Mamoa assured his fans that he takes a shower every day and joked that he is fine because he is the sea king.
Momoa appeared in “Visit Hollywood” with Isabel Merced on Monday to talk about his upcoming Netflix movie “Sweet Girl”. It was during their cameo that the 42-year-old actor’s hygiene was raised.
“I won’t create any trends. I will take a bath, trust me. I am Sea King,” Momoa said. “I’m in the fucking water. Don’t worry. I am Hawaiian. We have salt water on our bodies. We are fine.”
Momoa is not the only celebrity who supports taking a shower every day. Last week, Dashi Johnson replied to a fan who was curious whether the “Jungle Parade” star also pays attention to other celebrities who don’t wash their faces every day.
“No, I’m the opposite of a celebrity who’don’t wash myself’. Take a shower (cold) when I roll out of bed and let my day begin,” he wrote. “Shower before going to work (warm) after working out. Take a shower (hot water) after coming home from get off work. Wash my face, bathe, and exfoliate. I sing in the shower (without rhythm).”
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher sparked an ongoing debate about how often people should clean.
When they appeared in Dax Shepard and Monica Padman’s “Armchair Experts” podcast On July 19, the couple admitted that they would not bathe their children until they saw dirt on their bodies. “I didn’t have hot water when I was a kid, so I didn’t take a bath very much either,” Kunis explain.
Following Kutcher and Kunis, Shepard’s wife Kristen Bell revealed that she likes to wait for the smell before bathing her baby.
“I’m a big fan of waiting for the smell,” Bell Say When she starred in “The View” with Shepard earlier this month. “Once you smell the smell, this is how biology lets you know that you need to clean it up. There is a red flag. Honestly, it’s just bacteria; once you get the bacteria, you say,’Go to the bathtub or shower. ‘So I don’t hate anything [Kunis and Kutcher] is for. I’m waiting for the smell. “
Jack Gyllenhaal also weighed the matter in an interview Vanity Fair last week.
Gyllenhaal pointed out: “Sometimes, I feel more and more unnecessary to take a bath.” “I do believe that because Elvis Costello is great, good manners and bad breath will make you nowhere to go. So I did. . But I also do think that having a world without bathing is also very helpful for skin care. We clean ourselves naturally.”
In addition to his role Neptune, Mamoa is also known for playing Khal Drogo in the HBO hit “Game of Thrones”. His upcoming movie “Sweet Girl” will be released on August 20.
