The mourning of 88-year-old actor Jerry Douglas (Jerry Douglas) flooded in.

Douglas’s co-star and fictional wife on the show, Jess Walton (Jess Walton) led the tribute with touching photos of the screen couple a few years ago.

Douglas’s wife, TV presenter and writer Kym Douglas (Kym Douglas) survived 37 years and was heartbroken by the loss of her husband.
“My heart is broken, I have been with him since I was 22,” she responded to fans’ condolences on Twitter. Twitter.
The late actor’s sons Jod and Hunter, daughter Avra and his two grandsons also survived.
Douglas passed away on November 9 after a brief illness, and his family confirmed to the deadline.

“Jerry came to Y&R in 1982 with an impressive CV. Our show is fortunate to have a talented actor join the Y&R cast and introduce the iconic Abbott family to the audience.
“His contribution to Y&R’s legacy as the patriarch of the Abbott family, John Abbott is still felt today. He will be deeply missed.”
On Twitter, many people are paying tribute to Douglas.
“RIP great and charming Jerry Douglas. You are a pure class. Condolences and prayers to your family and loved ones,” said actor Daniel Goddard.
And his other co-star, Kaitlind added: “I am very happy to work with #JerryDouglas #manyyears @YRInsider #yr My heart and thoughts are with Kym and the entire Douglas family. #rip #youwillbesorelymissed.”
The host Jillian Barberie tweeted: “Jerry Douglas is unique. Elegant, with an evil sense of humor. My heart is with his family. Love you Cam.”

During his decades-long career, Douglas also starred in other TV shows, such as Melrose Square with Rockford Archives.
His film works include Avalanche, Godson, and dearest mother.
