Joey King and Jacob Elordi shared their thoughts on the ending of “The Kissing Booth 3.”
Spoiler alert: This article contains spoilers for the third part of the Netflix film series.
King and Elordi played the roles of screen lovers Elle Evans and Noah Flynn in the “The Kissing Booth” movie, respectively. Many people hope that their characters will stay together until the end, because they have always had a good impression of each other. However, the two characters split in “Kissing Booth 3.”
After six years of flashing, Elle became a successful video game designer, and Noah became a furnished lawyer. Although they obviously love each other, at the end of the movie they did not get the happy ending that many fans hoped for. Although they enjoyed cycling in the final scene, they did not formally reunite. The ending is open, allowing the audience to guess their future together.
“I don’t know,” Kim said Entertainment tonight When asked about the future of Elle and Noah. “I don’t want to put my point of view too much, because I want everyone to draw their own pictures, but I think these characters, Elle and Noah, have experienced so much. They always have this tremor. They have each other in their hearts.”
She continued, “No matter what the ending is, or what it may be, or what it may be, I never think they will lose that. If they don’t do it, or they end up together.”
At the same time, Elodi, like King, said he was not sure whether Noah and Eller would reunite. However, he was satisfied with the outcome of the franchise.
“I think it’s nice to see such comprehensive endings and see their endings,” he said. “It’s not so ambiguous, you kind of understand where it went and what happened.”
Kim agreed that the third movie “finished so perfect.” She added that making the third movie was “difficult” because they wanted to use “a little spice and a little taste” to give fans what they wanted without “close the book.”
Meanwhile, Joel Courtney, who plays Elle’s best friend and Noah’s brother Lee Flynn, said he is very excited about the time jump. When they were about to go to college, his role also broke up with Rachel (Meganna Young). But unlike Elle and Noah, Lee and Rachel got back together and got engaged at the end of “The Kissing Booth 3”.
“This is great. I like time jumps,” Courtney said. “Actually I was surprised by it too. I like it.”
However, fans still hope to get another sequel. Many people are on Twitter and Petition “Kissing Booth 4”. Unfortunately, they may not get the ending they want, because Netflix has stated that the third part is the last part of the series. King and Elordi also confirmed that “The Kissing Booth 3” will be the last movie.
“Kissing Pavilion” is a cute movie to watch when preparing to go back to school.
