Actor Kevin Costner joins Fox Before the first Major League Baseball game in Iowa, baseball crews were photographing the “dream field.” During the live broadcast before the game, Costner said a curse, and he immediately apologized for his mistake.
Costner was brought to the scene before the game to make him rethink the movie, shot in Iowa, and had the opportunity to pitch in the cornfield with his son. For Costner, this was a complete moment. When asked about the moment he threw with his son in real life on the court, Costner uttered a curse word.
“I want to spend that moment with him,” Costner said while chatting with Alex Rodriguez on the set. “Because we have been playing since he was very young. What we do at home is throw things. We throw things casually. It becomes a game, right?”
Costner then turned to his left and interrupted himself.
“I’m sorry,” Costner said.
Someone outside the camera said: “It’s okay.”
On Thursday night, the New York Yankees played against the Chicago White Sox. The cornfield in Daylesville, Iowa was home to the state’s first major league baseball game.
Costner finally left the broadcast scene and went to the field, coming out of the cornfield like a character in the movie.
After that, the Yankees and White Sox players did not know where they came from-from the corn platoon in the midfield.
Costner then spoke to the crowd and asked them: “Is this heaven?” The crowd cheered frantically, but did not give him the response he wanted.
“I’ll ask you again, is this heaven?”
The crowd’s reaction was so great that everyone in Iowa and western Illinois could hear them.
“No, this is Iowa,” they answered.
The game is being played in a specially constructed stadium near the movie stadium. The stadium can hold up to 8,000 spectators, and fans participating in Thursday’s game must pass through the cornfield maze to reach the stadium.
