Kevin Owens’ WWE contract expires in January 2022


WWE is about to lose another talented superstar. According to reports, the contract of former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens will expire in January next year.

“We learned from a WWE official that WWE reorganized several contracts before the pandemic. For whatever reason, Kevin Owens’ contract has been changed to expire in January 2022,” Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful from NoDQ.com says.

“We were not informed of any additional terms of the transaction, nor did we specify why the transaction time was shortened. We will try to find out if any other transactions have been adjusted.”

Owens said in an interview with TVA Sports in 2018 that he has signed a five-year agreement with WWE to ensure that he can continue to be promoted in 2023.
