Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering Company (KPE) is a joint venture between Paramount Group, a global aerospace and technology company, and Kazpetromash, one of Kazakhstan’s leading defense and engineering companies. The Barys 6×6 is a highly agile infantry fighting vehicle, manufactured entirely in Kazakhstan, using next-generation MRAP (Mine Ambush Protection) technology. In the process, it provides unparalleled protection from mines, improvised explosive devices, side explosions and RPG attacks.
Barys 6×6 can accommodate two crew members and up to eight soldiers, and can be used for countless defense and security operations, including border patrols, armored ambulances, and infantry fire support.
According to the requirements of the Kazakhstan Armed Forces, Barys 6×6 is additionally equipped with a fire extinguishing system, an improved hatch, an upgraded mechanical turret, and various systems for connecting and storing weapons and ammunition, both internal and external. Chariot.
The Special Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan recently conducted a series of experiments on Barys 6×6 under extreme winter and summer conditions in Kazakhstan, and successfully completed them.
Barys (“Snow Leopard” in Kazakh, the winter variant of Paramount Group Mbombe 6) especially maintains the versatility of the entire Barys fleet, ensuring affordability, while reducing maintenance, repair and operation-related costs. The 8×8 variant of Barys recently successfully completed a four-year series of tests conducted by the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan. CThe total distance exceeds 25,000 kilometers.
