Cheesy… ice cream? Kraft Macaroni and Cheese teamed up with a New York-based ice cream company to provide limited edition ice cream flavors.
“This summer, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese will combine two of the greatest joys of life: ice cream and macaroni and cheese. KraftMacaroni & Cheese will collaborate with Brooklyn’s Van Leeuwen Ice Cream for the first time to launch a limited edition ice cream.” Press release On the Kraft Heinz website.
Van Leeuwen Ice cream is famous for making ice cream with several ingredients. The ice cream also contains no artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes.
in a Press releaseAccording to Emily Violett, brand manager of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, the brand hopes to incorporate summer-inspired hospitality.
“We know that in the hot summer, nothing is more refreshing than ice cream. That’s why we want to combine two of the most iconic comfort foods to create the Kraft macaroni and cheese that we grew up with. Ice cream with unforgettable flavors,” the statement read.
The ice cream was released on July 14. A pint sells for $12.
The first batch of macaroni and cheese ice cream was a big success and sold out quickly, but the store is replenishing it as soon as possible.
