Las Vegas flights cancelled due to suspected intoxication, women without masks cause chaos

A drunk woman is responsible for the cancellation of a border airline’s flight from Las Vegas to San Diego.

On Monday, a woman boarded the plane and caused chaos, drawing the attention of the crew and passengers on board. Passenger Serena Smith told 13 Action News that the woman refused to leave and did not wear a mask.

After the woman was escorted off the plane, the flight could not be resumed due to the overheating of the fuel in the plane at McCarran International Airport. More fuel needs to be added to cool the aircraft, which eventually resulted in the cancellation of the flight.

A Frontier spokesperson told 13 Action News passengers that they received a $100 voucher and could choose to rebook another airline’s ticket after cancellation.
