These include a 6-bed inpatient treatment center, where patients temporarily live while they receive care, and a 35-bed center for partial inpatient and intensive outpatient care. The company, backed by New York City-based private equity firm Regal Healthcare Capital Partners, aims to increase access to primary mental care services. It plans to hire about 195 California employees by the end of the year. In addition to offering virtual care, it plans to relocate to other states and open centers in a total of 30 locations over the next five years, the company said.
