As we head towards September, that means it’s time for another monthly rollup of likes and likes. I can’t believe August is almost over and time flies this year! August has been a wonderful month for us. We’ve enjoyed summer and many good days, but now we’re getting ready to go back to homeschool and start a new term.
Summer may be almost over, but fall is one of my favorite seasons so I’m ready for the transition!
Here’s what we love and love about August.
* Refreshing Italian wine
If you like your wine, independent wine There is a range of delicious Italian wines to choose from. We recently received La Breccia, if you like dry whites, this is for you!
La Breccia – ‘Tropical and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc from Jesi, made on the peel using a low temperature maceration method. Aromas of guava, lime, gooseberry, daffodils and lemongrass.
This tropical, citrus and herbal wine is made by Montecapone, an expert in ultra-reduced (anaerobic) winemaking. Montecappone’s Verdicchio wines have won numerous awards in Italy. This wine shows their mastery of Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are grown on the hills on the southern slope behind the Montecapone winery near the town of Jesi.

We all love baking and cooking at home, and we try to keep the kids involved as much as possible. I love to use puff pastry for treats like homemade sausage rolls, cheese and bacon rolls.we tried some Cheesy Marmite Swirl They went through a storm. Jayden is adamantly against the Marmite hate camp, even he says they’re not bad!

birthday celebration
This guy’s birthday is awesome. Craig managed to get himself some well-deserved vacations to enjoy the birthday celebration.
We went out for birthday lunch at one of our favourite country pubs and it was amazing!
I had chicken leek and ham pie with chunky fries and broccoli, and Craig had steak with chunky fries, rocket salad and onion rings. Great!
