LinkedIn Services Marketplace is now available to everyone after a limited launch earlier this year, allowing professionals to promote their freelance services for free.
The Services Marketplace was first launched in February for a small test group and has since expanded to 2 million freelancers.
Now, anyone who wants to join can use LinkedIn’s service market.
Here’s more information about what the service market is, how to join it, and how it brings more opportunities for freelancers.

Freelancers can list services in 250 job categories for free in the LinkedIn marketplace.
Then, customers can find the service provider they need by searching on the service market login page.
Alternatively, clients can issue RFPs (Requests for Proposals) to encourage freelancers to bid for the jobs they are hiring.
LinkedIn’s service market is a tool to connect customers with freelancers. Anything other than that, such as negotiating fees and paying invoices, must be done outside the platform.
Clients can censor freelancers they hire, but freelancers cannot censor clients.

It is designed to be customer-centric, but as a freelancer, you can still do many things.
Now that you have understood the basics of how LinkedIn’s service market works, here is how to use it to be found by customers.
