As part of its goal to provide users with more valuable content, LinkedIn has made changes to its search and discovery capabilities.
People using professional social networking sites can now see news, topics and trends from their connections, as well as relevant posts from other creators outside of their network.
Tomer Cohen, Chief Product Officer at LinkedIn said in a blog post:
“If you’re interested in a particular topic when you search for it, you’ll see the latest insights, expert opinions and other new things. From finding the right people, community, company, job or content, you can now just search for your Any topic that comes to mind, you can make progress on any career goal.”
Users will be able to find content relevant to their searches from experts and like-minded professionals anywhere on the LinkedIn network.
The update also makes it easier for users to “rediscover” content they’ve seen before by searching for keywords and the names of the people who shared the content.
In addition to enhancing search results, LinkedIn has also rolled out user profile updates and introduced new accessibility features.
Service providers can now share reviews
Reviews are a useful tool for service providers, research shows Up to 95% of customers read them before buying.
LinkedIn will now allow its 4 million service providers to capitalize on positive reviews by sharing them with the community.
Cohen added:
“By sharing reviews in their feeds, service providers can increase the impact of individual reviews and leverage the benefits of word-of-mouth recommendations across the community.”
Unique referral link for users with creator profiles

According to the blog post, this feature will allow creators to increase their visibility and personalize their brands.
Live captions for audio event releases
To improve everyone’s LinkedIn experience, the social media platform added live captions to audio events.
This feature is currently in beta testing and is currently only available in English.
