The receptionist was very enthusiastic, not only greeted me warmly, but also personally accompanied me to the elevator!
Stepping into the elevator is like embarking on an adventure – the kind you don’t want to end! On both sides of the magnificent corridor, the exquisite decoration makes people stop and admire. Before I knew it, the elevator worker pressed the button on the 34th floor, and the door slowly closed in front of me.
When I got to the 34th floor, the Presidential Lake Powai Suite was simply stunning – it had everything I could have hoped for! The experience was so enticing that it immediately piqued my curiosity and I couldn’t resist taking a dip by the pool. After a long day at work, the calm atmosphere of Lake Powai will soothe even the most stubborn anxieties. Considering the amenities a presidential suite offers, it’s easy to see that $900 a night isn’t such a big deal. I could work straight from the executive workstation and all my needs were met including notepads, pens and of course the most important tea and coffee maker. With no interruptions to stop me, I was able to get my work done in record time. But that’s not all – the ground floor offers a giant HDTV, comfortable sofas, a safe, an elegant dining table and an amazing minibar. If that wasn’t enough, the walk-in closet is located on the first floor!
The Westin is such a beautiful hotel it would be almost a crime not to go to one of the restaurants or experience the service inside spring spa. My dining experience at the oriental specialty restaurant Emperor’s Court was very pleasant, Nawab Saheb, Indian restaurant. But at night, I’ll take my work to the Mumbai Express Deli. I would book an outdoor table with a lake view and work while enjoying the most delicious fruit macarons and a glass of my beloved hazelnut cappuccino. However, the real highlight of my stay at the Westin was the luxurious Quan Spa – a truly magical experience.
After a long, hard day at work, I decided to enjoy a 60-minute aromatherapy session at Quan Spa, followed by a soothing hot stone massage. The pressure the therapist put on my stiff muscles proved to be the right treatment and I left feeling so blissfully relaxed and rejuvenated that I swear I didn’t have a body! However, the spa time flies so fast, Quan Spa closes at 9 pm, if you want to experience the magical effect of hot stones, remember to make an appointment in advance!
I just returned to my suite late at night after a lovely dinner at Nawab Saheb. The waning moon lolls in the sky, drawing mesmerizing reflections on the water below. Before I fell asleep, I was intoxicated by the picturesque scenery. When I woke up the next morning, I was delighted to find a lavish in-room breakfast buffet waiting for me. I drew back the shades and stepped out into the sun, giddy with excitement as I ate Nutella pancakes, Dutch cream waffles, eggs of my choice, and a double espresso and a glass of orange juice. What a delicious way to start the day!
