Macy’s The July 4th firework show will return to New York City in 2021, kicking off the 45th annual Independence Day celebrations, paying tribute to the American heroes every day.

The event will be held at Macy’s at 9:25 pm on July 4th. 65,000 shells and impacts from five barges on the East River in the city center will spill over the night sky.
Will Coss, the executive producer of the Macy’s July 4th fireworks show, said in a statement: “As the United States commemorates Independence Day, we are very happy to include Macy’s in the celebration. The spectacular fireworks display on July 4 pays tribute to the heroic spirit of our country.” “Live broadcast in New York City, the five barges on the East River will launch an epic celebration that will be among our fellow New Yorkers and national audiences. Inspire new hope and optimism.”
Where to watch
The fireworks display will be held for New York audiences and national TV audiences. Viewers at home can watch the two-hour show on NBC at 8-10pm Eastern Time/Pacific Time or 7-9pm Central Time/Pacific Time. Performances will include Black Puma, Coldplay, One Republic and Reba McEntire.
Timetable and performance
The July 4th Fireworks Display at Macy’s was held for the first time in 1976. It held its 200th anniversary celebration and has been expanding since it was first held. Now in the 45th year of Macy’s, they will pay tribute to the patriotic music score and the heroes in their hearts, including classic works such as “Stars and Stripes” and “Beautiful America”.
Guest performances will include the US Army Field Band and Soldier Choir and Broadway Inspirational Voice.
The soundtrack for the fireworks display will be sung by music superstar Tori Kelly, who will sing “You Will Never Walk Alone” in the musical “Carousel” by Rogers and Hammerstein.
The 25-minute display will illuminate the sky in dozens of colors and shapes with a large number of shells and effects, including waterfalls, jellyfish and tentacles.
The entire firework event is designed and produced by Macy’s, and Souza uses Pyro Spectaculars.

The public viewing location will be set up and managed by the New York Police Department for viewing by fully vaccinated viewers, and a vaccination certificate will be provided on the elevated section of FDR Drive in Manhattan.Entrance is at East 23 and East 34dayAnd East 42nd Street.
