Yankees manager Aaron Boone called the incident “embarrassing” and “unacceptable.” Red Sox manager Alex Cora pulled his team off the court because security officers identified who was responsible for throwing the baseball.
Cora said on Sunday: “When I went out, it was loud and annoying-from both sides. I just need to calm him down.” That’s the whole reason I let everyone off the court. I think, in his current state of mind, he can’t play now. No chance. ”
