Matt Damon revealed the reason why his 15-year-old daughter Isabella would not watch his movie “Benevolent Hunting”.
When he was a guest at CBS on Sunday morning, Damon Asked whether fans still associate him with this movie, which brought him and Affleck an Oscar. His response included a major disclosure about his daughter, whom she reportedly had no interest in watching.
“Of course, yes, less and less,” Damon Tell CBS“You know, young people don’t know so much. You know, my 15-year-old refuses to see it. She doesn’t want to see me in any movies that she thinks might be good,” he added.
To clarify his point, Damon Isabella, who says he lives with his wife Luciana Barroso (Luciana Barroso), once told him that his movie “The Great Wall” was nothing extraordinary. The movie was released in 2017, and the box office lost disastrously, with a score of only 35% on Rotten Tomatoes.
“She just likes to smack me,” Say Damon. “My daughter said,’Yes, remember the movie you made,’The Great Wall?’ I said,’It’s called the’Great Wall’! She said,’Dad, there is nothing good about that movie,'” He recalled with a smile.
However, Damon said that his daughter helped him step on the ground firmly. He also said that he likes his children’s criticism of his work because it only shows that they respect his profession. “I like that they know that I love my job,” he said. “They know this is my job-consumption and a lot of work, which makes me feel fulfilled,” he added.
Damon also talked about how being a father of four daughters changed his identity as an actor. He said that he is “suffocated more easily now”. “Since I had a child, my job has become a lot easier because I don’t have to try,” he said. “I don’t need to touch any emotions, whether it’s happiness or pain, because everything is nearby, and because there are children, the risk is much higher,” he said.
