Last year, I decided to read more. It’s always been something I love and love to do, just for me, but I let motherhood and everything that comes with it hold me back. I realize this is an excuse I made up, as a mother and busy reading is totally doable! And I also realize (for my own mental health) that doing what makes you happy every day is very important to manage anxiety and happiness, and in turn be a better mother/wife/person. Find the things that make you happy and do it every day. so. My goal is to read 21 books in 2021. I actually achieved this goal! ! ! Today I want to share my 10 books for 2021 with you here!
I encourage you to do more things that make you happy. If reading is one of them? It’s entirely possible! One of my suggestions? I carry my books everywhere. While the kids are playing outside? I would go out and read my book with them. Bath time? Read my book. Even if it’s only a few pages or chapters at a time. This has had a huge impact on how I can actually read and complete books! Also, I like to read a little at night, either after the kids go to bed or before I go to bed. This is a great way to unwind and get ready for bed after a busy day! Add a cup of tea and turn on your diffuser and it will be even better. 😉
