They are controversial, cumbersome, and may remind you of Sunday school, but I want to tell you. Loafers will be on sale in the fall. I have been wearing thick loafers repeatedly. At first, I had a lot of strong opposition to them. They are not necessarily “pretty” shoes, but neither are combat boots. See where they end up? I can assure you that loafers will be popular this fall, and they have more uses than you think. Use them with leggings and skirts, trousers, denim, and even add unexpected changes to women’s dresses, and you will have a unique look. Are you ready for the best part? They are very comfortable.
