Neighborhood Homes received $275,000 in Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act grants this month. This is part of an additional $4.1 million in federal funding for critical programs for our district that Rep. Pramila Jayapal received.

This funding will enable Neighborhood Homes to hire more dedicated, multilingual staff with the expertise and community trust to support people on their way to subsistence jobs that create wealth for themselves and future generations .

“We are so grateful to Congresswoman Jayapal for helping us bring economic opportunity to those most affected by COVID, systemic racism or war in this country,” said Janice Deguchi, executive director of Neighborhood Homes Say.
