In the first week of the 2021 NFL season, there will definitely be some upsets that few people see. The defending division champion is one of the biggest losers on the schedule, and the teams that suffered double-digit losses last year became favorites on Sunday.
Below are the three unpopular draft picks from the NFL opening weekend. The betting odds come from FanDuel sports betting.
Pittsburgh Steelers (+235) vs. Buffalo Bills
Pittsburgh’s defense gave it a real chance to get out of Buffalo with a victory. Despite losing to the Bills a season ago, the Steelers only allowed a 20-point offense while limiting Josh Allen to his third-worst passer rating this season.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger still has something in his fuel tank. Last year, the Bills ranked 25th in defense, with 4.7 yards per pass. Rookie running back Najee Harris can start his NFL career with strong results.
New York Jets (+210) at the Carolina Panthers
Sam Darnold is one of them NFL’s worst quarterback In all three seasons with the Jets. Will he really get better in Carolina, especially against his old club?
The Panthers are going through 5-11 seasons, and the offensive line may be poor. If there are any signs in the preseason, Zach Wilson will be the best quarterback on the court on Sunday.
New York Giants (+134) vs. Denver Broncos
Have Reasons for optimism Regarding Denver in 2021, it is questionable that the Broncos are close to a field goal on the other side of the country. In the past four years, the Broncos record is 9-23.
New York’s overall record last season was better than Denver, and the defense was above average. This unit may make life difficult for Teddy Bridgewater. The quarterback will play his first game in a new offense with a score of 4-11 in 2020, with a score of 4-11, and only 15 touchdown passes.
