From July 21st to 24th, a consulate outreach mission was held at Beacon United Methodist Church in Seattle, formerly known as the “Consulate on Wheels” (COW).

The four-day event is a joint community service project of IDIC Filipino Senior & Family Services and Fil AM React.

Consul General Neil Ferrer and Consul Vanessa Bago-Llona of the Consulate General of the Philippines in San Francisco led a ten-person consular officer and staff to provide consular services to the Filipino-American community in Washington.

Services provided include new application and renewal of Philippine passport, dual citizenship, civil registration, overseas voter registration and legal document authentication.

Consul General Ferrer’s team also visited the home of 99-year-old Ricarda Marin to process her dual citizenship application, and was sworn in to regain Filipino citizenship.
