Rebecca Ferguson (Rebecca Ferguson) recounted her experience filming the upcoming movie “Dune” (Dune).
The 37-year-old Swedish actress plays Oscar Isaac’s Leto Atreide in Denis Villeneuve’s new adaptation of the classic novel Dune. Lady Jessica, the concubine of Duke Leto Atreides, revealed that she had to face the greatest fear when shooting epic science fiction films. -fi movies in Abu Dhabi and Wadi Rum Valley in Jordan.
“I can’t be locked in,” the highly claustrophobic Ferguson told Entertainment Weekly. “In every game, I have to make sure that if they lock me somewhere, I need to be out.”
Ferguson recalled a special “sand dune” scene in which her fear was pushed to the limit. When trapped in an avian flying vehicle called a flapping wing, she shared, “I was panicked for a moment, and I really kicked the door out with my foot.”
“I need to know that I can go out,” she explained.
In addition to closed spaces, Ferguson said that she is now also afraid of being typeset. Since her debut at the age of 16, she has played Elizabeth Woodville in the BBC’s “White Queen” and the British spy Ilsa Faust in the 2015 “Rogue Nation” “Mission Impossible” series. Since then, she has received more opportunities and offers.
“When Dennis explained Jessica, he said,’She’s strong, we watch movies through her, and she can kick ass.’ I thought,’Oh, that’s great, so basically Ilsa Faust and I did it. All the other queens,'” Ferguson said. “I think my mind has entered,’Oh, for God’s sake, I am portrayed as a strong female character.’ I think, how do I get rid of it? It’s cute, but I also find that the vulnerability is very strong. . I think fear is very interesting.”
She tried to break the typography with her movie”Nostalgia,” was released in theaters and on HBO Max last month. Hugh Jackman, her co-star in 2017’s “Greatest Performer”, played the protagonist of the movie, and he was fascinated by Ferguson’s role as May.
According to director Lisa Joy (Lisa Joy), she and Ferguson talked about how the film will adopt the idea of ”true love” or simply “femme beauty” and “crush the concept” during the first meeting.
“May is a character who, like Rebecca and all women, is accustomed to the world watching her-making assumptions about her and trying to make her a simple’type’,” Joey explained. “Mae uses these assumptions like a weapon against anyone who is stupid enough to underestimate or classify her. Rebecca and I are very deliberate about every part of this uncovering and debunking stereotypes.”
According to her “Mission Impossible” co-star Simon Peggy, Ferguson is very different from her off-camera character Ilsa Faust, more stupid, naughty and funny.
When “Dune” is released on October 22, fans can see Ferguson on the big screen. The movie will also be broadcast on HBO Max, but it will only be broadcast without ads in the United States within 31 days of its release in theaters.
