We celebrated Matilda and Cow’s 7th birthday with some dog-friendly tacos.This is not the first time we have enjoyed tacos on the blog, you may remember our Cinco De Mayo Bean Mashed Taco Snacks Once upon a time. These tacos are a complete meal with all the ingredients. The best part is that they are a healthy, easy-to-digest celebration meal that most dogs can tolerate regardless of their usual diet.
The situation has changed a lot since Cow contracted severe pancreatitis a year ago. She is on a low-fat diet and rarely eats raw food. Now she is on a diet, she can tolerate it and there is no allergen in the 5Strands test, she is finally in good health. I hope to slowly introduce fresh food into her diet again. Even healthy fats like sardines can sometimes cause mild diarrhea episodes, so I was hesitant to give her raw food.
