The fuse developed by Roketsan is one of the key components of its growing product line, each of which is a leading product in the category, as a national and local product in its fuse technology center.
Roketsan took over Tapasan in 2012 and acquired the necessary capabilities and technical infrastructure in the fields of fuse design, production, testing and certification. Roketsan is constantly striving to create qualified human resources and invest in high-tech equipment, and opened a fuse technology center in 2017 to build modern infrastructure.
The Fuse Technology Center is responsible for the design, development, production and testing of mechanical, electromechanical and electronic fuses required by Roketsan in all of its rocket and ammunition systems. The plugs designed and developed through systematic engineering methods conform to international standards, and are tested and verified in accordance with current standards in the Fuse Technology Center.

Roketsan is also continuing its efforts to establish the production and testing infrastructure for aircraft bomb fuzes. These infrastructures will be developed and produced entirely by domestic means and will meet the important needs of the Turkish armed forces. In addition, Roketsan continues its research on the design of multi-purpose fuzes that are compatible with guidance kits for different caliber artillery ammunition.
Roketsan’s Fuse Technology Center also stands out for its ability to manufacture wireless fuse programming units required for single programming of ammunition fuses.
