Designed within the scope of FNSS’s PARS III 8×8 and 6×6 export projects and entered the Oman Armed Forces inventory for the first time, the SANCAK remote control turret (RCT) system also constitutes the main firepower vehicle of the PARS IV 6×6 special operations. The mine protection vehicle (MPV) was delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces within the scope of the procurement project.
The difference between the turret and its predecessor is that the entire system is ballistically protected, including the ammunition box. The two SANCAK turret systems located at the front and rear of the PARS IV 6×6 special operations vehicle will be exhibited together with the vehicle on IDEF 2021.
SANCAK is a remote control weapon system that can be equipped with a 12.7 mm/.50 caliber machine gun, a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher and a 7.62 mm machine gun, thanks to its universal gun holder.
SANCAK is designed to provide effective firepower for all types of armored or unarmored, manned or unmanned land platforms and tactical vehicles. It is an ideal weapon system for close fire support, vehicle protection and surveillance missions when necessary.
