Senate Democratic Party Announced a $3.5 trillion budget agreement that will prioritize agenda items supported by the president Joe Biden.

The plan was only approved by members of the Democratic Party SenateAccording to the Associated Press, its budget committee will provide funding for combating climate change, improving infrastructure and broadband Internet, supporting child and elderly care, and other Democratic agenda items.

The budget may pass the upper house of Congress without the approval of any one of the 50 Republican members of the Senate. In order to do this, the budget must be presented as a budget resolution, and all 50 members of the Senate Democratic Caucus must vote in favor.

It is not clear that the Democratic West Virginia senator Joe Manchin Or sen. Kirsten Cinema (D-AZ) will support the budget. Both senators opposed previous efforts to pass large legislative projects without bipartisan support.

“We are very proud of this plan,” Schumer said Tuesday, accompanied by 11 Democrats on the Senate Budget Committee. “We know we still have a long way to go. In order to make the lives of ordinary Americans better, we will finish this job.”

The Senate Democrats announced that they have proposed $3.5 trillion in expenditures to address climate change, health care, family planning, and other agenda items advocated by Democratic President Joe Biden in the next 10 years.
