Simone Biles won four gold medals and one bronze medal in 2016 Olympic Games When she was a teenager, but now she is an “old lady”, about to participate in the Tokyo Summer Olympics. Byers, 24, is one of four women selected for the 2020 U.S. Gymnastics Olympic team to participate in the Olympics next month.
The four women selected for the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Team are:
- Simone Byers
- Li Sunisa
- Jordan Chilis
- Grace McCallum
The replacements are Mykayla Skinner and Jade Carey.

At the US Olympic team trials in St. Louis, Missouri this weekend, Byers scored enough all-around points to be selected for the team. Although Liang had a malfunction, she knew it, and she knew it would be a setback.
Biles and Lee are the teams with the highest scores in this trial, and the three-person selection committee decides the rest.
After the first game, Byers scored 60.565, far ahead of Lee (57.666), Jordan Chilis (57.132) and McKaila Skinner (56.598).
One of Byers’ achievements on Friday night was her double-double “Byers” off the crossbar, her score was 15.133. This is different from the Yurchenko double spear vault a month ago, which also won another highest score for the famous gymnast.
Byers won five total medals-four gold medals and one bronze medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics. She just got better in the past four-plus-one Olympics. The new action is named after her, and only she can do it.
During the 2016 Rio Olympics, the Olympic team consisted of five participating members, and the American team was called the “Top Five”.
