Boston Children’s Hospital and Shield Health Solutions, a specialty pharmacy integrator and care provider, opens a children’s pharmacy across from the hospital. Beginning in March, pediatric patients with complex chronic conditions and their families can use pharmacies to more easily access the specialty pharmacy services they need to fulfill their care plans, which may not be available at general pharmacies.

The pharmacy is designed to make on-site treatment options more accessible and enable patients to receive top-notch care while offering a range of recently approved drugs as well as newly available treatments.
