Looking for lots of fun and affordable things to do during the Staffordshire half term holidays? Well, we've got your back. There are plenty of activities to choose from in our roundup, including family walks, nature reserves, cinemas and more. Outdoor activities in Staffordshire
Trentham Manor
Trentham Estate has great things to do all year round, but there's plenty to enjoy during half term too. You can take the kids on a walk around the mile-long lake, through woodland and through beautiful gardens, all while looking for fairies.

Trentham Monkey Forest
Trentham's Monkey Forest is a great place to spend a few hours outdoors. We've been there several times and it's always fun to watch the adorable Barbary macaques.

cannock chase
Cannock Chase is a great place to spend time with the children.
There are some beautiful trails For walking.
Find it on the Ladyhill Trail The Gruffalo Sculpture in Cannock Chase.
Get ready to join Zog on his latest forest adventure with new family activity trails and a free app – Zogg Activity Trail at Cannock Chase.
Go Ape treetop adventure – Show off your best tree climbing skills, go hands-free and soar through the sky with a proud wave on the fast zip line.
Visitor Center and Cafe on Marquis Drive Open 7 days a week, it is the start of many self-guided walks and family cycle routes (including disabled routes). Electric scooters are available for a fee for people with limited mobility. There is an adventure playground, picnic spots, bird watching areas and the recently restored Great War Lodge (limited access). The shop sells maps and souvenirs. There are toilets, including disabled facilities.

National Forest Adventure Farm
Come and say hello to the lovely new arrivals in the animal barn and ewe farrowing room half way through term. You can also try feeding baby lambs and try out some fun farming activities.

Shugborough Hall
There is much to see and do at Sugarborough Estate.
Take a walk around the estate, play in the Explorers Forest play area, learn about Park Farm at the interactive farm exhibit, and explore the super cool house.
My aunt and grandad both worked for the Earls of Lichfield, so it’s no surprise that Sugarborough Hall is one of my favorite places to visit.

The branch has currently updated its bowling alley –

Museums in Staffordshire
Cosford RAF Museum
The Royal Air Force Museum offers a super fun day out for the whole family. Admission is free and opens at 10am daily.
The new Bomber Command exhibit is now open at two locations. You can explore and participate in the story of the crews, technology and attacks that were crucial to the Allied victory in World War II. As well as our iconic aircraft, they will be displaying items from their archives that will reveal the real stories of the real people involved.

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust returns to the world of Wedgwood with hedgehog inspired crafts! Create your own collage of seedling hedgehogs and nature.
Free admission on Thursday, February 15th from 10am to 2pm.
apedale heritage center
Tour underground mines and visit museums to discover ancient mining artifacts.
Miners' huts provide a glimpse into daily life in the past. I love taking the kids to sites like this because my grandfather was a miner. It was quite a nostalgic experience.
