Summer is really here, and the weather in Staffordshire is really great.We have endless barbecues with friends and family, splashing in the paddling pool, and playing games together, thank you now Smoby, The boys also have this cool Smoby XL children’s slide to play!

Assemble the slides
Several slides are available for assembly. First, we grabbed the instructions that are very easy to follow. They use simple diagrams to guide you step by step through the build process.
These parts are connected by thick plastic nuts and bolt-like parts.
You don’t even have to look for a screwdriver in a garage or kitchen trash drawer, because you only need a 2p coin!
Just turn the coin to tighten and hold the accessory in place.

Once assembled, it can be used alone as a traditional slide, or add a hose to the closed opening to turn this bad boy into a super awesome sled!
We have plugged the hose into this many times and the boys absolutely love it! They even added a water pad at the end and then glide on the lawn, which is very fun.
What is the size?
The slide is 2.5 meters long and about 1.5 meters high. I think this is a good height for children.
If we want to get a higher slide, I worry that it will not be able to support the weight like this slide. This particular model can bear the weight of my 6 and 11 year old boys. It showed no signs of shaking and remained strong as they climbed the ladder.
Our thoughts on Smoby XL Slide
When examining the slide, the first thing that becomes obvious is its well-made and durability.
The non-slip steps make it ideal for use as a water slide and for children to climb up with only socks.
Another thing that gave me a thumbs up is that the slide has been treated with anti-ultraviolet rays, so it will not become stale and worn over time.
I know this slide will bring endless fun to my children. Smoby is a brand we like very much and we will recommend their slides immediately!
