All three waves of “Guild Wars 2” elite professional testing may be over, but ArenaNet has not yet fully teased the “Dragon’s End” expansion. After allowing players to get a glimpse of the transformed Emerald Sea, the developers continued to show off the new mount that will be launched in the expansion: Siege Turtle.
Like the rest”Guild Wars 2In the lineup of rideable creatures, the siege turtle plays a very special role: it sieges things. These huge amphibians are actually walking tanks equipped with cannons, designed to eliminate large numbers of enemies, such as Computer game player In its exclusive hands-on preview of the mount.
Generally, the mounts in Guild Wars 2 are designed to help players travel through the environment in one or another unique way. The basic Raptor mount is fast and can skip large horizontal gaps, while the stingray-like Skimmer is suitable for water and underwater driving. This is not the case with Siege Turtles.
Turtles do not complete traversing niches, but slow and heavy, but the more they move, the greater their speed and power. The faster they sprint, the harder it is to control. It may be a spectacle to watch a giant tortoise sprint and drift in a corner, but their real power lies in their combat potential.

Siege Turtles are more durable than other mounts. With approximately 40,000 health points, these beasts can stay in combat longer than their smaller counterparts.
Their cannons are not just for performances. Each explosion will cause considerable damage in a large area, although their slow rate of fire and limited ammunition capacity will greatly reduce their DPS.
The installed guns can only be operated by the co-pilot. The player squad or any member of the squad can jump on the friendly siege turtle and act as the gunner controlling the cannon, while the owner of the mount is responsible for the movement. The co-pilot can also activate the buff to increase the turtle’s speed and ammunition regeneration.
So far, the Siege Turtle is becoming an important new member of the existing mount roster of “Guild Wars 2”. Players will be able to try out these turtles in the upcoming Beta event on November 30th that includes all the new elite specializations.
