Texas and Oklahoma plan to move to the SEC

Big 12 for so long, hello SEC.

According to ESPNAfter six months of negotiations, both the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Clippers will take action in the coming weeks.

The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Oklahoma will both owe $76 million to the 12th Congress to buy out the remaining years of their media copyright agreement that was originally scheduled to expire in 2025.

If this move is passed, it will make the SEC the first 16-team meeting in history and will force the meeting to be readjusted.

Last season, Oklahoma ranked second among the top 12 teams with a record of 6 wins and 2 losses. Texas ranked fourth in Big 12 with a 5-3 record.
