A restaurant owner was called a “legend” after receiving a negative one-star review and printed it on a series of T-shirts.

It explained: “In the spring, during the first mask mission, a group of people came to Luna and asked to enter without wearing a mask. Our dedicated staff refused to enter, but welcomed them to dine on our spacious outdoor terrace.
“This group of people refused, becoming angry and arguing. Eventually they left, went home, and posted a series of one-star comments on how we violated their freedom. This is our favorite comment.
“We asked @themerchcarrboro the very talented Chip Hoppin to design the perfect T-shirt as a Covid moment for our employees. Thank them for their gifts and thank them for a very challenging journey.
“Many of you asked to buy these shirts as your souvenirs, so we printed more shirts and sold them on our online ordering system for pickup. While stocks last!”
An employee named Skyler Jay shared a tweet about these shirts in October. He said: “Can we appreciate my new employer’s making an absolutely wild one-star comment into T The incredible atmosphere of the shirt???”
Her tweet received more than 9,000 likes and was posted to Reddit by user Dullahen on Tuesday. He just said: “This restaurant owner is a legend.” It has been voted more than 60,000 times.
